Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Shoreline

An aircraft hovering above a crowded California shoreline suddenly began spiraling uncontrollably, eventually losing altitude and smashing into a line of palm groves as onlookers watched.

Videos uploaded on the internet capture the aircraft beginning to twirl above Huntington Beach then descending near the border of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palm groves and a steps adjacent to the shoreline route.

Emergency Response Update

The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.

Three people on the pavement were harmed. Information on their wounds were still under review.

The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
