Thomas Tuchel Questions Wembley Fan Atmosphere Following Dominant Wales Victory.

Thomas Tuchel expressed his disappointment that the Three Lions team did not enjoy more backing from the home crowd during their decisive 3-0 friendly victory on Thursday evening.

Tuchel was happy to see his side maintain their winning momentum, with goals from Rogers, Watkins, and Saka inside the initial stages effectively ending the contest. Yet, he was unhappy with the energy at the iconic venue.

“We had limited sessions to get ready against a drilled team and we performed excellently,” Tuchel stated. “We could have been five goals ahead at half-time. We missed the fourth and fifth ones. There was little noise. We didn’t get any energy back from the stands. We did everything to win.”

“How much more can you provide in the first quarter? We prevented them escape. When you only hear just the Welsh supporters for 30 minutes, it’s sad because the team earned better encouragement today.”

“I support my words. We cannot do more than leading three goals up in a derby. I hoped for a little more support in moments where it gets difficult.”

“In the second half, to get behind us, there was excessive backing for the opposition. It might have aided us to recharge, but that’s the way it went and that is it.”

Squad Decisions Vindicated by Performance

Apart from potentially starting a fight with fans, Tuchel also raised eyebrows by omitting Bellingham and Phil Foden from his squad. However the choice was validated by Morgan Rogers excelling in the attacking midfield role and getting his maiden goal for his country.

“He plays his game,” the head coach said. “He operates as an attacking midfielder and he is vying for his spot.”

Wales Manager Seeks Improvement from Loss

The Wales manager hopes that Wales, who host a strong Belgian side in a important World Cup qualifier on next week, improve after their poor first-half display.

“This is why I scheduled this match,” Bellamy said. “I wanted to assess where we are. Where do we want to go? Who do we want to be? This performance fills me with inspiration.”

Fitness Worry for Watkins

Ollie Watkins was taken off at the break after clattering into a goalpost and may miss out when the national team play their next opponents in Riga in a World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday.
